Structural Steel Review

Not every project needs a hammer. Sometimes the most valuable thing you can do is make sure someone is watching closely. We were brought in as owner's representation on this project. Our role was oversight, ensuring the structural steel installation was being done correctly and to spec. We brought in a licensed structural engineer to verify the work against the engineering documents and confirm the steel was installed as designed. When structural components are involved, the cost of catching a mistake before the walls close is nothing compared to the cost of finding it after. That's why we were there.
